Summary:
The incumbent will play a key role in achieving his/her revenue target by identifying new business opportunities by focusing on corporate clients. He or she will also be responsible for cultivating excellent relationships with clients through ongoing engagement, facilitating solutions to ensure smooth execution of client deliverables with 100% compliance as per IRDAI rules and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
The position holder shall be responsible for:
• New account acquisition with a focus on mid to large opportunities.
• Establish a strong presence in strategic and key accounts within the region and work towards their conversions.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach to sales, actively engaging in customer interactions and deal negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners and other relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate, support and help in respect of service to client to his utmost satisfaction.
• Get the best possible price and terms from the market for client through knowledge, expertise and competitive advantage.
• Keep abreast of latest and detailed market information through analysis, research and feedback mechanism.
• Prepare market submissions and presentations for new business and renewals to ensure that they effectively sell the clients risk to the market.
Academic Qualification and Experience:
• Graduation Essential: Masters’ Degree or any Insurance Qualification highly preferred.
• Experienced professional in General Insurance or Insurance broking industry.
• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse levels of management.
• Good Analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Insurance Brokers Regulations and Insurance Products.
• Good working knowledge of MS-Office applications, Word, PPT, Excel etc.
